Chalcedony Loose Gemstone Collection
Chalcedony as a loose gemstone is a widely used stone that can be easily found in different parts of the world. It is usually available in different sizes - some are banded, while there are also some small tumbled stones. Loose chalcedony gemstones come in different colours, mostly pink, white, greyish blue and red. The loose chalcedony stone in its purest form is known as carnelian or sard, while the different colours are known by different names.
Green chalcedony, for example, is known as chrysoprase, while banded chalcedony is known as agate. Stones with red jasper flecks are known as heliotrope, and those with white and black bands are known as onyx. Natural loose chalcedony is a large family with many varieties. Each of them has its own qualities and properties that make them powerful healing stones.
